Our Clients
Our clients are your neighbor, your niece, the guy down the street or even a parent. They are Johnny, Bobby, Sue and Pete. They are people. People, who laugh, smile and cry, who are full of joys and fears like ourselves, and who just want to be included. People who want to feel the satisfaction of a job done well and who are willing to put in the effort to accomplish it; people who often work harder than you or I, simple because they have to. We can learn much from them.
The term “disabled” is often used in conjunction with a politically correct ideal but no matter what phrase one uses, all indicate an “otherness” from normal. At New Dimensions we choose to focus on the “abled” portion of “dis-abled” and we invite you to do the same, for in a flash of a moment – a car wreck, a stroke, a side-effect from prescription medicine – you, too, could become something other than our society’s version of “normal.”
My Success Story: Nicole
Nicole was referred to IPS in January 2024 with a goal of working in a bakery or with animals. Despite her efforts, she struggled to secure interviews in those fields.
Nicole built a positive relationship with Old Town Gym through a job shadow and expressed interest in working there. At the time, there were no open positions. She continued to apply to other businesses building confidence.
In October 2025, Old Town Gym reached out to offer Nicole a part-time cleaning position. After consulting with a benefits counselor, Nicole decided the job was a perfect fit – close to home and well-suited to her schedule and transportation needs. Nicole is now successfully employed and proud of her progress toward her career goals.
My Success Story: Katy
Katy was referred to IPS in May 2025 with a dream of becoming a behavior technician, though she doubted her own skills and abilities. At first, she focused on finding cleaning or stocking jobs to move on from her entry-level position at McDonald’s.
With encouragement and support, Katy gradually built her confidence and decided to pursue her dream career. After only three months in the program, she was hired as a Behavior Technician with Game Changers Therapy Services. Katy is now thriving in a role she once thought was out of reach and is already planning to further her career by becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
My Success Story: Crystal
When Crystal was first referred to IPS services, she doubted her abilities and believed she was only capable of working as a courtesy clerk. With support and encouragement from her job developer, she was able to build confidence, expand her employment goals, and connect with employers.
In October 2025, Crystal was hired by Parlour Donuts where she washes dishes and cleans the dining area and kitchen. Crystal has built strong relationships with her coworkers. Her job developer continues to provide ongoing support to help her maintain her employment.
Crystal is motivated to work in order to care for her two bearded dragons and is currently exploring opportunities for a second job so she can obtain more hours.
